but at a generally lower price. There are also numerous "fringe" theaters
and even some that perform open-air.

Performances generally run Monday through Saturday evenings, supplemented by the occasional matinée.

Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling the theater box office directly, where you can also get information on seating classifications. Expect prices to range from $12 to $70.

If you are already in London and looking for a last-minute deal, check the "tkts" kiosk at Leicester Square. Legitimately discounted tickets are available and the selection changes daily.
